Farmway Road Corridor Planning Study
Highway District No. 4 and the City of Caldwell have developed a corridor plan for future safety and capacity improvement to Farmway Road between SH 55 (Karcher Rd) and SH 19 (Simplot Blvd). The agencies recognize this as a vital roadway for our growing community.
Components of the plan include the following:
- Roadway section (i.e. number of lanes, pathways)
- Major intersection type – traffic signals or roundabout
- Access – future streets and property
- Corridor cross sections
Farmway Road Corridor Plan 2023
HD4 and Caldwell are partnering to implement the first project on the corridor at the Ustick Rd and Farmway Rd intersection. A multi-lane roundabout, sized for truck traffic, is planned for construction in 2025.
